The photos floating around online of our pool were taken before we added a safety fence. We’ve had requests to see how it looks and here it is above.
We’ve stayed at a lot of private villas and hotels in Bali (and in particular Sanur) and the most stressful thing is always the lack of safety around pools for our little kids. Most villas and hotels have no fencing, which resulted in us paying for them to be made — and frankly they were flimsy and not secure, making relaxing next to impossible as we were always on high alert.
With this in mind, we had a professionally built fence installed around our pool that gives us peace of mind when kids are running around playing and exploring the garden. The fence is high and the gates have double locks which can only be reached by someone with long arms.
