Don’t let the name fool you, while it is located on a corner and gets more breeze than your average warung, Beach Breeze is not exactly on the beach. But at 2-3 minutes bike ride from The Villa Sanur, it’s become our go to place for lunch.
The food is delicious, plentiful and cheap, and best of all it has a range of Balinese dishes (“mama’s special” kind of dishes) that are not commonly seen. And it’s staffed by friendly, cool young guys.
Beach Breeze is one of three little warungs in Sanur run by the same people. They all have the same kind of menu, laid-back vibe, with chilled out western music playing continuously. At night they rotate live acoustic music between the venues too.
Beach Breeze is to the south (on the very end of Jalan Cemara and opposite Sudamala Suites & Villas), Coconut Tree is almost opposite Hardys Supermarket on Jalan Tamblingan and (the original) Little Bird is further north and still on the same road.
If you want to order their food to your villa, the great news is that Coconut Tree can deliver.
