Perfect holiday destination
This is as close to paradise as I have ever experienced! A beautifully designed villa with two separate accommodation buildings each with two big airy bedrooms (4 in total) beautiful bathrooms and spacious dressing rooms. Each building has an indoor air conditioned sitting room, although the shared open air living zones are so comfortable and spacious, we spent most of our time there. … True Balinese hospitality. 100 metres from the rear door is the glorious Mertisari beach, with a great local vibe and good restaurants a short walk away. We loved every moment. Sanur is a fabulous and relaxed destination.

“Perfect family villa”
We stayed at Villa Sanur earlier this month and can’t express how much we loved our stay! The villa itself was something out of a fairytale it seemed, creating a fun and unique environment for us to enjoy our holiday! We stayed with our extended family, and the layout of the rooms allowed us all to have our own space and time which was fabulous!
The villa manager Komang, was so lovely and we grew to love him and his young family. he was always around to help us with any query, especially as we were new to Sanur and needed to know where to go and what to do! …

“An amazing family holiday”
We were so impressed with the villa and could not have picked a more perfect place for our holiday in Bali. There was plenty of space in the villa for everyone to spread out, the kids loved running around outside on the lawn and in the outdoor spaces. The pool is beautiful and well cared for, and the shallow end makes it ideal for young children. The garden is very whimsical and every day we would find something new we had not seen before. Komang the manager is incredible and will do anything he can to make your stay relaxing and memorable.
The villa owners were very patient with all our questions, and answered any queries we had at length promptly as we were planning our trip. The recommended nannies, driver and cook were all awesome, and helped to make our family holiday one of the best we have ever had. We will definitely plan another trip to Bali and can’t wait to stay at the Villa Sanur again.

“Superb”
I still can’t believe how lucky I feel to have stayed here in this villa. The setting is totally amazing with squirrels running around in the trees, kingfishers resting in this paradise garden and different lizards also enjoy the well maintained premises.
Komang the manager is one of the most beautiful people that I have ever met, his wife and son, Sam are evidence of such a lovely family. Jero the housekeeper is kind and thoughtful and keeps the villa in great condition, she also cooks a really great breakfast.
The villa, situated in Sanur in a very quiet gang is the perfect location to all amenities including restaurants, beaches and shops. Around $3 (AU) for a taxi up to Hardies for any groceries or maybe just some shopping for souvenirs etc.

Amazing oasis in lovely Sanur
Wow! From the moment we stepped inside this villa, I knew we had found a little piece of paradise. The villa is huge, easily accomodating two families, each with their own private space. The design is both unique and magnificent. Gaudi inspired, the villa looks part-Spanish, part-Moroccan – it is a great feel for the beach area of Sanur, and we loved it! The kids loved the doorways leading through to each room and our 6 year old claimed this to be the best holiday house she’d ever stayed in….we agree! The villa is wonderfully equipped for families, from highchairs, to carseats, bikes with child seats, and even children’s cutlery and plates/cups, etc. …

“Home away from home”
We are from South Australia and have just spent 10 days at this very spacious and unique Villa with our entire family. Our grandchildren, ages 2, 3+ & 10 years were surrounded in a very safe environment, with plenty of toys, bikes, TVs, Swimming Pool, etc to entertain them. It was a very comfortable and relaxing holiday for all. The villa was everything and more than we could ask for, and LOVED our very own Villa Manager, Komang, who made the best eggs & pancakes… and was at a every need – he was absolutely wonderful!! …

“Magical”
We travelled with our 2 eldest children aged 20 & 21 plus 2 friends in their 50s to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday. It was a great place to chill out and we were made to feel welcomed from the moment we arrived from Komang, the manager. Our every need was catered for and arranged if we couldn’t do it ourselves. Richard and Kristen provide a mobile phone with local numbers if necessary of restaurants, spas, the manager, etc.
It was like a magical place that was like a fairy kingdom with shades of hobbiton. We discovered different things around the garden almost every day. There was an abundance of plants everywhere with different places to sit and relax. There is enough room for people to not be on top of each other. My favourite place to relax was the large lounge overlooking the fountain and pond.
The pool was beautiful and very relaxing with lots of shade provided by the 3 umbrellas beside the pool and, if you wanted shade in the pool, the plants provide it also. The manager and owners were so helpful in everything …

“Perfect for families & large groups”
Our group of 11 (6 adults & 5 kids) have just enjoyed a 2 week stay in this comfortable & spacious villa. The owners answered emails & queries promptly and accommodated last minute changes with no hassle. The layout of the villa was perfect for our 3 separate families & the spacious rooms and grounds gave everyone a place to escape when needed. The warm & friendly staff attended to our every need. We wouldn’t hesitate to return, or to recommend the villa to anyone considering staying here.

My heaven
Always my fave place to stay, it’s my second home and highly recommend it to anyone. Young families in particular as there is so much to do for little ones, amazing Nannies, kiddy pool, local kids to play with. I always book again before I leave because I love it so much. The owners are beautiful and very helpful if you are new to Sanur as they lived there with small children. The staff are divine and there when you need 😉

“The best place I think I have ever stayed!”
This is the best place I think I have ever stayed! Stunning outdoor area, funky, comfortable, slightly crazy interiors, it really is like staying in the hobbit house, but with a lot more luxury thrown in! The garden and ponds at night – unsurpassed ! Charming, creative, quirky, fabulous!
Plus great house staff, great location, and a couple of quite large geckos! Definitely recommended!

“Fantastic villa for a relaxing holiday”
We meet our friends at The Villa Sanur and we both have small children. This Villa is the perfect get away for a relaxing Holiday if that is what you choose to do! With a great pool, lots of outdoor space and indoor space for everyone. The beach is very close by for nice walks and to spend your money on all kinds of nice treats. Komang the manager is just fantastic and so is the cook, the driver and the nannies! and we had lots of bike rides in to town. The Villa Sanur was a great hide away for us to catch up with friends and spend time with our family with everything we needed for the children and adults … 15th March, 2014
“Simply stunning – a private paradise”
Our stay at the Villa Sanur certainly did not disappoint, from the moment we arrived to the day we left we loved every minute of our stay here.
The property itself is stunning with lush gardens, sculptures, pool and multiple alfresco areas for true outdoor living. The bedrooms are huge and the unique domed ceilings and curved walls create a beautiful atmosphere. The new renovation and furnishings are top quality and have created a modern and relaxing vibe.
The beach is just around the corner and we found that taxis were cheap and easy to arrange when we wished to travel further afield.
Komang and the team looked after us and our two young children very well and made us feel at home. They were always on hand to help with any requests, from arranging a driver, to ordering meals for delivery, laundry, breakfast etc.
The property is ideally suited to a group or extended family, with 2 separate accommodation wings. In the past we have stayed at resorts in Bali, but our time at the Villa was so much more memorable and relaxing. Having just left a week ago, we are already planning our next trip to The Villa with our family.
